Get a Taste of the Arts! Make downtown Bellevue your destination the last weekend of July for the 2011 6th Street Fair. You’ll experience the original work of 130 artists in an open-air showcase of sculpture, jewelry, home décor, wood and glass work, fabrics and more. Peruse an eclectic mix of outstanding arts and crafts and discover the perfect treasure from baskets and beadwork to paintings and pottery. Jazz, blues and rock musicians will entertain you from the stage while you stroll. There will be hands-on activities for kids and a variety of food offerings to satisfy your cravings, including gyros, German bratwurst, crepes, Asian-fusion cuisine and much more. Getting to the fair is easy with convenient shuttles, a street-side layout next to the Bellevue Galleria and quick access to nearby freeways, the transit center and parking. Over the last 39 years Whaling Days has become a summer staple for families from all over the Kitsap County community. The festival is a Not-for-profit organization run exclusively by Volunteers. Each year Whaling Days donates proceeds to our local community through charitable contributions and scholarships.

Have a blast at 2011 A Taste of Edmonds It’s time for the 29th annual A Taste of Edmonds! Presented by the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce, this popular festival provides fun for the entire family. It is run by over 200 committed volunteers, some of whom have worked on the planning committee for years. The festival funds Chamber programs and services that support a variety of community events in Edmonds. Food and other vendors who belong to the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce will have a special designation on their booths this year. Be sure to stop by and say hello to them. History of the Festival 42 years! The Issaquah Salmon Days Festival, presented by the Greater Issaquah Chamber of Commerce, is the annual celebration of returning salmon to the lakes, streams and downtown hatchery with a weekend of non-stop FREE activities. Attracting more than 180,000 visitors in two days, the Festival includes a Grande Parade, a marketplace of more than 250 artists, Foods of the World, the Field of Fun and five stages of live entertainment.
